Sledding at Mary Welsh Elementary the last day we had good snow left!
The boys LOVED it!!
(and so did the big kid parents!)
We hardly could get a 3rd snowball on to complete the snowman because Carson was having too much fun tackling and smashing it!
Cousin Kenzie has been babysitting the boys about every other Sunday (THANKS!) while Aunt Christine, Ben and I go to Financial Peace University (FPU) at our church (St. Paul's United Methodist Church) for a 13-week program. We are learning a lot and very thankful for Dave Ramsey educating us and for our class hosts and classmates.
CAMERA HAM ALERT
Daddy's spring obsession: Shed hunting
Carson's new obsessions:
PIRATES (Jake and the Neverland Pirtates),
Remote controlled car (potty training bribe),
taking self-timer pictures,
still taking 100's of regular pictures,
and Play Dough!
Happy Belated St. Patrick's Day!!
Thanks, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Dave,
for bringing us home from Disney these great hats!:)
Brady loves Play Dough time, too!
Brady loves anything that lets it be okay to climb on the chairs and table.
Carson's dental exam of his dinosaur. ;D
I need a new camera...lots of fuzzy pics and red eyes!
Almost a full family portrait, but Brady was already in bed!
*********
Life has been very busy.
I know, who's isn't?
We had a very rough Feb-March with lots of colds and viruses affecting us like dominos.
I don't think we had a stretch longer than 3-4 days in nearly 6 weeks that someone wasn't sick!
More bad luck...
On Feb. 23rd at volleyball I had a very bad ankle sprain that turned out to be a fractured ankle bone!
I wore a "boot" for 3 weeks, went in to find out that it had "healed minimally if at all" and am now in week 2 of 4 of a walking cast, trying to speed up healing!
REALLY hoping to be healed by May for baseball and golf season!!!
Also, growing anxious with the nice weather and timeline to get out walking.
I did (pre-broken ankle) sign up to do the 60-mile Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure in August in Chicago again!
Other news...GOOD news...clearing up rumors...
Yes, we did buy the Raider Country Cafe recently.
We had an auction in March and sold off all of the restaurant equipment.
Our plan is to one day build a new dental office there, as we are outgrowing our current office (rental) space.
That "one day" is indefinite, but likely a few years before any more big news there!
In the meantime, we are looking for rental tenants either for commercial or storage use of the building...full or half of space...1 year lease...just throwing that out there to the cyber world.;)
