Carson's 3 yr pictures and Family photos

TAKE ONE:

Friday 7:30pm photo appointment. Head up to Chili's for dinner. Realize Brady wet through pants, go to change him at 7pm and realize bag of boys' photo shoot clothes is

NOT IN THE CAR!

Mad dash through mall, find two outfits for both boys. Make it back just in time for appointment. Carson was geared up, defiant, would hardly look at photographer. Most of time was spent rolling around floor and trying to get into their props area.

Disclaimer: We usually get the boys' pictures with local private photographer...

who does AMAZING work...

but due to timing, cost, and cooperation,

or lack there of,

we went to Flash in the Mall.

Yes, Santa is watching you...

but there is quite a bit of naughty hiding

(not so well)

behind that smile tonight!

Brady's turn...was mostly a meltdown...

we think the clothes change to him meant it was bottle/nightcap time...

which we had not brought in because he had JUST eaten dinner...

By the time it was family photo time, we were all maxed out...

very thankful they offered a free re-shoot session!

Carson's 3rd Birthday Parent Date

Carson's 3rd birthday morning started out awesome:

Extra Cuddles with Mom and Dad

Cool Birthday shirt (again)

Pop Tart and Chocolate Milk for Breakfast

Favorite Movie...

...until

it was time to stop the movie mid-way to go to daycare.

We love going to Susie's.

But right now, he is OBSESSED with the movie

"How to Train a Dragon,"

so the world was ending to stop it before the ending.

Tonight we went and watched the Iowa Girls' Basketball game against Bradley.

Carson was in awe of the arena when we first got there!

Carson's is THREE!!!

November 16, 2007 we were blessed with our first child, Carson Robert Grier.

It seems so crazy that it's been THREE YEARS already!

Carson is a very active, playful, imaginative, loving toddler that so badly wants to be a "big kid!"

Thank you, Family and friends who joined us to celebrate Carson's 3rd Birthday!

He got some fun new toys and clothes that are keeping BOTH boys very entertained!

Carson was a little mad when he was made to wait

for everyone to gather 'round before he could open his presents.

Belated posting of Brady's 9 month stats:

Head and Height were >95%, off the charts: 19" head; 31" height

Finally back on the charts, right at 95% for weight: 24-3/4 pounds

He'd dropped over 2 pounds since he started crawling!!!

Now, at 10 months he's back up to 26 pounds.

Not a fan...at first!

Carson woke up crabby from a nap and didn't like the masks at the door or want to go out in the dark trick-or-treating! He finally caved...but wouldn't take a pumpkin pain, he wanted to use Uncle Bob's old silo! He did have a lot of fun visiting Mom's old neighbors!

Happy 12th Birthday, MacKenzie!!

Today is MacKenzie's 12th Birthday!!!
We Love You, Z!

We went to Deep River on Saturday night for Ben's Aunt Tammy's Suprise 40th Birthday Party.

LOTS of family was there, so I got a little camera happy.

It was fun to see all the cousins and second cousins playing together!

Always a good time!

Mission Impossible: Get all the Great-Grandkids in a picture at the same time and to looke the same direction! Eight and a half SO far! (The Half is cousin Traci's 2nd, just 13 wks prego!)
