We had a busy, busy July and forgot to take our camera many places! First picture below is Grandma Kathy teaching Carson how to ride a bike! Ok, so he was more riding than pedaling, but he had a blast and we couldn't get him off of it! We were at Uncle Sean's house visiting Cousin Thomas and wife Emma, as Tomcat was home for a short break from his Afghanistan deployment.
Ben and I squeezed in an Adult Vacation Weekend to Chicago with the Stecklys, Kents, and Andrews. We saw a great game at Wrigley, with the Cubs beating the Cards 5-2! It was a fun getaway, even for the "D.D." pregnant lady!:) (Chicago has great food and a lot of interesting folks for people watching!) We missed our little man, but greatly enjoyed time together! Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma Swanson for watching Carson that weekend!

New extended family additions

The Taylors have been adding members to the Sutfin family this last year. Last September, Ben's cousin Traci married Brandon Schmidt. They are pictured below with their newborn baby girl, Kamryn Jade, born July 10. She was excited to get here and arrived a month early and healthy! On June 27th, Ben's cousin Angie married John Dvorak. Carson was very fascinated by their goldfish centerpieces and had a blast getting down on the dance floor with the family! Aunt Christine was "getting low" with him, while extended family of Brenda, Jess, Tammy, and Shannon danced along!

June belated blog

Above are pictures from: FATHER'S DAY at the I-Cubs game with the whole Sutfin family. We were also celebrating Great-Grandpa Bob's 75th birthday! Carson loves to try on and walk around in any shoes he finds....he has some big ones to fill here! We had some major rainfall in June. On a lighter rain day, Carson was having a lot of fun playing in the drain spout. We didn't let him go play on the flood Friday rainy day....as you can see, the neighbor's swingset that Carson loves was in a flood zone from the Knolls Nile going thru our backyard! The mailbox is a neighbor's across the street and down one house. Our street was filled to the brim of the curb, but didn't go over in our yard. We were lucky to not have any water in our basement! We figure if we didn't get water with that storm, we should be good and dry enough to finish the basement without worry!

Dance, dance!

Sorry for the length (1:45)! I don't know how to edit videos well yet and the video was taken with my regular camera, sorry for the sideview at the end!  We had so much fun, and obviously Grandpa Jimbo likes to groove. This clip had quite a bit of Bob and Ella bouncing/dancing, too! Carson was out on the dance floor for several hours with all his family and girlie friends....and crashed for almost 9 hours of sleep and a 2 hr nap Sunday!

Busy weekend

Friday night: Mom and Dad Golf night.
Saturday Night: Chill with Bob, Julie and Ella in afternoon, then to Retirement Party for Lynn & Reed Moore.
Sunday: Baby Ella's Baby Shower in Chariton then dinner in Monte with Sutfin clan
Whew!  It was fun!
Above: Bob with two of the Moore's grandkids. How cute!
Congrats, Lynn and Reed!
Thanks for a fun night with great people, good food, awesome ("Judy") cake, and a rockin' band!
SUPRISE from their kids and grandkids!
Bob and Alex were quite the pair.  Alex is 2. It was so cute watching them play together. At first, she was trying to kiss Carson and he would run away. Then they were buds playing and dancing all night!
Sweaty boys after hitting the dance floor. Not as much dancing from Ben, but Grandpa and Carson made up for that!  I'll try to get the video uploaded next!
Ella's first dance with Mommy and Daddy, "Brown Eyed Girl."
Ella's baby shower at Patti Bisgard's house.
Fun day getting to see lots of good family friends and lots of kiddos!  Ella got lots of pretty outfits and fun toys!
Carson's main entertainment of the afternoon: the dog cage and toys!  Hmm...maybe we should get one at home for him, I mean for Dizzle...lol!

May play

#1 best toy purchase to date: The trike with a push/steering bar.  Carson is a trike junkie!  Up and down the neighborhood almost every day. We even pack up for any trips away from home! He can't get enough of the trike rides!
Filling up the pool. He had more fun playing with the hose filling it than he did in the pool later, it was a little chilly!
Sat., May 30th: Lilly Andrews 3rd Birthday Party!
All the wild kiddos were tough to corral for a group photo...Carson's making an escape over the front to go to the other jumper gym...this one must've been too crowded for him!
Macey and Nolan had a blast in the ball pit.
Carson testing out the slide
JUMP! He can actually get some air under his jump here!
Carson and Cael Steckly talking.
Carson had so much fun!  Thanks, Lilly and the Andrews family!
